Luetkemeyer, Lawrence J. “Larry”

Baptized in the hope of the resurrection of Christ, Tuesday August 17, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Marlene Luetkemeyer (née Schulte); dear father and stepfather of Scott (Jodi), Todd (Courtney) and Brian (Lisa) Luetkemeyer; loving grandfather of Justin, Josh, Katie, Jacob, Adam and Harper; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Larry graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in 1961. After graduating, Larry studied accounting at the University of Missouri in Colombia. Larry has spent his entire career, spanning over 40 years, with Emerson. He had many hobbies, including watching the Wheel of Fortune and the Cardinals; solve daily crossword puzzles and sudoku puzzles; volunteering in his parish, St. John Bosco Catholic Church; hunting and fishing; family accommodation of fish fries; and battling those pesky backyard squirrels.

Services: Visitations will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a Christian funeral mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday August 28, 2021, at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Catholic Church in Mary’s Home, MO with Fr. Greg Oligschlaeger officiating. Interment will take place in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, Mary’s Home, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association ( or Susan G.
