Justin Bruce likes to keep busy with several occupations

LANCASTER — To say Justin Bruce is a busy man is an understatement.

In addition to working as a real estate agent for Keller Williams, he is also the owner of Bruce Chiropractic. His wife, Kate, is a chiropractor.

“I run the Bruce Chiropractic business certain hours of the week and I sell real estate certain hours of the week,” Bruce said. “And I also consult for some small businesses in town. I like to stay busy.”

As part of his Keller Williams duties, the Missouri native also works in the company’s entertainment division which caters to high-end customers.

“This is a hyper-local group of agents across the country,” he said. “Less than 1% of Keller Williams agents are accepted. Locally, we will begin to build relationships with Columbus sports teams and artists.

“If a player comes from Miami and he comes to Columbus, he knows that I and the other agents in that market are ready, willing and able to help him with whatever he needs. a luxury rental or a purchase, whether it is for their family, we are here and ready to serve them.”

Bruce got into real estate after local agent and friend Zack DeLeon asked Bruce to help sell some commercial real estate. Before that, he traveled and sold advertising for 12 years. But Bruce said business was all but gone when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020.

He said he didn’t know how much he would like real estate until he got into it.

“I thought I would do a lot of publicity, and I started doing more residential for people we knew,” Bruce said. “Just seeing the faces of the people at the closing table and their kids…the biggest purchase of their life and you’re a part of it. It’s more of an honor on my part that they allow me to do that. part. “

As for Bruce Chiropractic, Bruce wrote the business plan while his wife was in chiropractic school.

“She graduated in December 2015 and hung a shingle on March 1, 2016, and the rest is history,” he said.

The business was on Main Street but moved to 422 N. Columbus St. in November.

Bruce is active in the community. He is a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fairfield County and the Lancaster-Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, among others, including activities at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church.

“We try to stay as involved as possible,” Bruce said.

Outside of work, father-of-two Bruce spends time with his family and friends. He also loves golf.
