When it comes to church ministry, Adam Prince is quite the Renaissance man. A member of St. Leo the Great University Parish and St. John’s Church in Russellville, Prince is available for whatever parishes may need.
“I like to volunteer my time and help with just about anything I can,” said Prince, 24. “It could range from helping with installing new technology to cleaning or sweeping floors, cooking at an event or helping with music – that’s a wide range of things. things. “
Prince, along with his wife Kalley, 22, volunteered for Bible study, music ministry and other campus activities. Most notably, he prepared St. John’s Church to offer masses online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prince said his family, who have been involved with St. Leo Parish since childhood, have a major influence on his ministry.
“My family has always been very active in their religion. And so, being raised this way has helped me realize how important religion is to me, and why it is important to take care of the Church family, ”he said.
Prince is attending Arkansas Tech University, where he graduates in information technology in December, and does internships for Hackney Ladish. Despite the balance between school and work, he values ministry on campus.
“I see so many people fighting against religion in general. And that’s one of the great things about St. Leo’s, is that you could be of any other religion and come hang out with us, and we’re not going to judge you for that ” , did he declare.
